Michael is a retired IT professional with over 27 years of experience at a four-year university (Mississippi University for Women), most recently serving as Senior Programmer Analyst and Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administrator. His expertise spans technical support, system implementation, education technology, and career mentorship, making him well-versed in time management, career planning, and work-life balance. He has mentored college and high school students and helped individuals navigate challenging situations with strategic solutions.
As the founder and co-owner of Tailored Synergy LLC, Michael brings entrepreneurial insight, having coordinated the company’s membership with ASCAP as a music publisher and managed the digital distribution of the album If I Would Trust God. Since 2019, he has played a pivotal role in Tailored Synergy LLC, based in Columbus, MS, where he has designed and managed multiple websites and digital content, coordinated music publishing, licensing, and distribution, and provided solution-focused life coaching. He has also troubleshot technical issues using established procedures, handled escalated support inquiries with empathy and resolution-oriented communication, and adapted quickly to evolving systems and procedures. His experience includes utilizing CRM systems, call center software, and other digital tools to assist customers.
Throughout his career, Michael has collaborated across departments, coordinated LMS upgrades and course management, and provided technical assistance to students, faculty, and staff. His commitment to education and mentorship is evident. He served in the role of instructor at Mississippi School for Math and Science Summer Institute for African American Males and as a personal tutor for seven years. He has also contributed to distance education initiatives, serving on the Distance Education Task Force and SACS Distance Education Committee.
Additionally, he has experience in media production, having worked as co-executive producer and graphic designer for If I Would Trust God and served as director/camera operator for Listen 2 Our Teens. Shondolyn Young Richardson

Shondolyn Young Richardson is an accomplished educator, ministry leader, and creative professional with more than 21 years of experience in education and over five years in women’s ministry leadership. She is the founder of SYR Ministries and Tailored Literacy, as well as the co-owner of Tailored Synergy LLC, where she has demonstrated expertise in literacy, personal development, and wellness.
A gifted singer-songwriter and co-executive producer, she released her debut album If I Would Trust God in 2008 and has been published in two books. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Reading/Literacy, complemented by multiple certifications:
